An active-listener captivated by Hip Hop since the young age of ten. Drastik has been in and out of of the music arena for over ten years. At the age of 12; when he was in 7th grade his first love for poetry was ignited. Then led to him at 14 (in the makem say uhhh...lol Master P' era) to first write his first verse. What started as nothing serious, subsequently led him to spit at parties and then he matured in the behind the scenes, expertizing in mastering, engineering and artist management. He has Interned @ Chicago Recording Company. Attendend Columbia College Chicago and is currently a Business student at UIC College of Business Administration. The streets and the nightlife know him and he knows the streets and the night life, punto y coma! El Tiguere_Drastik has influenced and helped mold several local Chicago Artists. "I always showed support and simply told niggas don't get in this shit if you don't take it seriously"he adds "If you don't take it serious they won't take you serious" simple math he adds. His style is raw, relaxed and his musical vision is a true reflection of his experience and artistic potential. El Tiguere is unlike most local rappers who are in this to get airplay or fans. He is a longtime student of the game who is well aware of it's current state and the direction it will head. "I'm not here to change the game..I'm just here to add to it.." says El Tiguere_Drastik He will add his vision to what he sees as an opportunity for improvement in the music Industry. El Tiguere_Drastik vows to "continue to show support to all musicians including chi-town artists who at times choose to play a cut-throat game of spades when in reality the game to be played is chess."
